<h3><strong style="color: rgb(140, 140, 140);">Job Summary:</strong></h3><p style="margin: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px;">The Mechanic II/ Shop helper will work under supervision to assist with the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This is an entry-level position intended to provide hands-on training and on-the-job learning to develop skills required for a career as a qualified Millwright.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"><br></p><h3><strong style="color: rgb(140, 140, 140);">Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Assist with the installation and alignment of industrial machinery, equipment, and mechanical components.</li><li>Support senior Millwrights in performing preventative maintenance and repair tasks.</li><li>Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.</li><li>Learn and apply proper rigging techniques, including hoisting and lifting.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li><li>Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies.</li><li>Participate in job-specific and safety-related training as required.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.</li></ul><h3><strong style="color: rgb(140, 140, 140);">Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn a skilled trade.</li><li>Ability to take direction and work in a team-oriented environment.</li><li>Basic math and measurement skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel to various job sites and work in various weather conditions.</li><li>Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing, bending, and climbing as required.</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size: 13px; color: rgb(89, 89, 89);"><br></span></p>
