Position Summary

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects and custom fabrication in both the shop and the field. In this role, you'll work closely with branch managers, technicians, and office staff to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Support Project Operations

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction and fabrication projects.
• Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and office personnel to support smooth execution.

Ensure Quality & Safety

• Uphold company safety policies and industry standards on all job sites.
• Help resolve project issues and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

Contribute to Financial Performance

• Support project cost tracking and profitability targets.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing project estimates, change orders, and invoices.

Develop Skills & Expertise

• Build knowledge in plumbing, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Participate in training opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
• Degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance or fabrication.
• Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA certification a plus.
