Position Summary:


The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations, personnel, and the financial performance of a specific branch to include projects, jobs and service.

This role ensures that all deliverables are executed on time, within budget, and at the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of balancing strategic planning with day-to-day management.


Key Responsibilities:


Operations Management

  • Oversee all field and office operations within the branch
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations
  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing, service and project execution to maximize productivity and quality
  • Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure smooth job progress

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor branch financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts; track and manage job costs
  • Approve project estimates, change orders, and invoices

Staff Leadership

  • Hire, train, and develop branch staff including project managers, field personnel, and administrative team
  • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and address performance issues
  • Foster a positive team culture and promote professional development

Client & Business Development

  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Support business development efforts and pursue new project opportunities
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and community engagements

Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to company-wide goals and initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, innovation, and growth
  • Ensure the branch aligns with the company's mission, values, and long-term vision

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Proven experience managing commercial and/or industrial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and job costing
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling tools
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Experience in estimating and business development
